Chicken Tikka
Ingredients:
Serving size:5
1 kg boneless chicken
1/2 cup fresh curd
3tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2tsp chilli powder
1/2tsp cumin powder
1/4tsp turmeric powder
1tsp cardamom powder
3tbsp freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
1tsp freshly squeezed orange juice
1tbsp coriander paste
few drop of food color
oil or butter for blasting
Preparation Methods:
Cut chicken into 1-inch cube pieces.Grill for 8-10 minutes or until done, basting once with oil. Mix all spices with yogurt and beat well.Marinate chicken in the mixture.Preheat the grill to medium. Brush the grill rack liberally with oil.Thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers, spacing them apart so they do not touch. Grill for 6-8 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time. Then baste the chicken with the butter and grill for another minute, or until slightly charred at the edges and completely cooked through.
