Oyster Sauce Chicken Curry
Ingredients
Marinate For the Chicken
Whole chicken chopped
1tbsp of ginger garlic paste
2tbsp of soy sauce
1tsp sesame oil
2tbsp of cornflour mixed with 1tbsp of lemon juice
1tsp of pepper powder
1/2tsp of salt
1tsp of chili powder
1 egg white-beaten well
Marinate the chopped chicken with all the above mentioned ingredients overnight in fridge.
1 chopped onions
1 chopped tomatoes
2 red chillies split into halves
1tbsp of ginger garlic paste
6tbsp of oyster sauce
1tsp of dark sauce sauce
1tbsp of tomato paste
1tsp of chillie powder
1/2 tsp of lemon juice
1 each of cinnamon,clove,cardamom and bay leaves
2 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves
2 cup of vegetable oil
Preparation Methods
Pour 2 cup vegetable oil in large fry pan-shallow fry fry the chicken pieces until half cooked,keep aside.
In a non-stick frying pan pour in 2tbsp of olive oil,add cinnamon,clove,cardamom,bay leaves,ginger garlic paste and onions. Once the onion become translucent add the tomatoes red chillies and chillie powder. When the tomatoes release its juices add the chicken piece. Let it cook for 10 minutes covered. Then remove the lid add oyster sauce,tomato paste,dark soya sauce and lemon juice.After 10 minutes remove from flame garish with chopped coriander leaves.
