Potato Masala for Poori
Ingredients
1 cup boiled potatoes diced
1 cup chopped onions
2 tomatoes chopped
1 green chillies finely diced
2tbsp besan flour made to paste with 2tbsp of water
1tsp mustard seeds
½tsp cumin seeds
¼tsp hing powder
Itsp ural daal
1tsp chaanal daal
½tsp turmeric powder
3 curry leaves
Chopped coriander leaves
Preparation Methods:
Coat a frying pan with 2tbsp oil, add mustard seeds. Once it starts to crack then add cumin seeds, curry leaves, ural and channal daal, chopped onions, and tomatoes green chillie and turmeric powder. Saute the mixture till the onions and tomatoes are cooked well. Then add the potatoes, hing powder and besan mixture. Once the curries become thick removes from flames and serve hot with chopped coriander leaves.
