Oh is it??Oh gosh time really flies..it's being time that I get back to conquer the blogging world with my aroma from my kitchen to yours.My family is are pasta lovers esp my son. The following recipe has being sleeping in my folder for some time and now is awakening to be shared with u guys> Many people loves to order pasta with seafood in restaurant but doesn't really have the time or courage to prepare the m in their own kitchen.Fear not, it’s much easier to prepare than you think and so much better when you can pick and choose the seafood components yourself fresh from the market. All the rerquried ingredient are available in own kitchen and comes together in less time than it takes to order out!!! I happened to prepare the following recipes while I was in Singapore few months ago. Try out this tasty pasta and enjoy the flavors of the seafood...
Ingredient:
Serving Size:2 person
1 cup cooked spaghetti
1/2 cup medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/2 cup medium calamari (squid), cleaned and cut into rings
1 red capsicum sliced
1green capsicum sliced
2tbsp tomato puree
1/4 cup olive oil
1tbsp butter
1 onion sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
minced parsley
white pepper
red pepper flakes
1/2 cup pasta water
Spaghetti With SeafoodIngredient:
Serving Size:2 person
1 cup cooked spaghetti
1/2 cup medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/2 cup medium calamari (squid), cleaned and cut into rings
1 red capsicum sliced
1green capsicum sliced
2tbsp tomato puree
1/4 cup olive oil
1tbsp butter
1 onion sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
minced parsley
white pepper
red pepper flakes
1/2 cup pasta water
Preparation Methods:
Place butter and 1/4 cup olive oil in one pan with onion and garlic.Then add the sliced capsicums are cook for few minutes. Cook over low heat until wilted. Add the calamari and shrimp and cook for a couple of minutes over medium heat.Cook for another minute or two, then remove the seafood with a slotted spoon to a bowl or dish. Add the red pepper flakes to the liquid. Turn the heat up to high and let the sauce reduce a bit. Add the pasta to the pot with the reduced sauce. Put the seafood back in and season with white pepper. Add the parsley and the tomato puree and mix everything together. Add some of the pasta water if needed. Drizzle the olive oil on top and serve.
